Peer Review Process
JOURNAL of HEALTH SCIENCE REVIEW : JOURNAL HEALTH SCIENCE REVIEW (JHSR) is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing material on all aspects of public health science. Published by SABDA EDU PRESS (SEP), JHSR serves as an ideal platform for the discussion of advanced public health research and practice among authors and readers worldwide. The journal places a strong emphasis on originality and excellence, welcoming high-impact articles covering various dimensions of emerging public health science has a review policy of all submitted manuscripts. Each submitted article will be independently reviewed by two peer reviewers. The process is as follows:
The author submits the manuscript
Editor checks the script to check for possible plagiarism
The results of the plagiarism check determine whether the manuscript is ACCEPTED or REJECTED.
The Editor returns manuscripts that pass the plagiarism check to the Author via OJS to correct the manuscript as directed by the Editor
The author returns the revised manuscript to the Editor via OJS.
The editor submits the manuscript to the Section Editor then the Section Editor forwards the manuscript to the Reviewer in a Double Blind review.
After review, there will be four types of Editor's decisions based on the reviewer's recommendations:
Accept Submission : Submissions will be accepted without revision
Revisions Required : Submissions will be accepted after minor changes are made
Resubmit for Review : The submission needs to be reworked, but with significant changes, it is acceptable. However, this will require a second round of review.
Decline Submission :Submissions will not be published in the journal
The reviewer submits the results of the review to the Editor to be forwarded to the Author.
The author corrects the manuscript according to the reviewer's notes and suggestions and returns the manuscript to the Editor.
The Section Editor checks the manuscript for compliance with the editorial board's policy
The editor is ready to publish the manuscript according to the publication period
The length of the review process is three to six weeks. Authors are requested to actively monitor OJS and its cooperation to go through the ongoing process
